A group of intrepid sailors  keen to progress their development undertook a combined Level 1 and 2 course, the Level 2 partivipants being graduates from our Level 1 sailing course back in July.  Supported by RYA qualified instructirs and star volunteers from the club, the sailors have now put aside their “L” plates and proven themselves by attaining the Level 1 & 2 standard having followed the RYA sylllabus over two weekends.  Particularly notable for the “exciting” conditions on the second day, 30th September, the budding Ben Ainslie’s all showed their mettle having clearly paid attention to their instructors.  It was especially interesting wathcing them rise to the challenge of steering without rudders and centre boards!
